Lawrence Polensky, 98, of El Campo passed away January 12, 2014. He was born December 30, 1915 in Wharton, TX to the late Antone Michael Polensky and Mary Anne Luczak Polensky.

He was preceded in death by his wives Eloise Sparks Polensky and Ima Jean Polensky as well as siblings Johnnie Polensky, Rose Lee Williams, Frances Jurek, Stanley Polensky, Eddie Polensky and Rudolph Polensky . Survivors include his son Russell Polensky of Florence, Arizona; sister Beatrice Duzan of Saginaw, TX and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM Tuesday at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Interment will be 9:00 AM Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck, TX with a memorial service following at 11:00 AM at Memorial Baptist Church in El Campo, TX. Pallbearers will be Mike Gingrich, James Kana, Jerry Bell, Mike Bell, Bobby Bell and Carlos Montalvo. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of his Sunday School Class at Memorial Baptist Church.
