Laura Earlene Dickens Griffin, of Bay City, Texas passes away peacefully in her sleep, Thursday, May 25, 2023. She was born September 8, 1947 in Texarkana, Texas to Rosie Laura Dickens andVan Murray Dickens.

Laura was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed being with her family, was a talented artist, piano player and loved to laugh. She took comfort with her sweet companion and "dog mom" to Izzy.

She is survived by her devoted husband Tommy Walter Griffin; daughter Kristi Griffin Loesch & husband, Shawn; son Jason Taylor Griffin & wife Shannon; sister Nancy Marie Mayhew and husband Ritchie; brother Rodney Paul Dickens; grandchildren Griffin Coley Cates, Taylor Elizabeth Cates and Trey Alan

Loesch; nieces and nephews Alexandria Marie Dickens, Jordan Taylor Dickens, Amy Cristine Sikes Curbello, Jakob Paul Dickens and Scott Gillum, & wife Brenda; great nephews & nieces, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Northside Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM with Scott Gillum officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, June 2, 2023 at Center Ridge Cemetery in Maud, Texas.
