Larry Dean Hamilton, 63, of Bay City passed away October 23, 2007. He was born October 19, 1944 in Bay City to the late Walter Cape Hamilton and Elma Whittlesey Hamilton.

Larry was a lifelong resident of Bay City and devoted his life to loving and supporting his family. He was the Salutatorian of his high school class at Van Vleck and earned his Masters Degree in English in 1995 from the University of Texas. He worked as a Professional Land Man; was a member of the Texas Exes Alumni; member of American Association of Professional Land Men; member of Bay City nature club; formerly involved with Community Theater and loved writing, gardening, carpentry and music.

He is survived by two sisters Sandra H. Jenkins and husband Calvin of Bay City and Ginger H. Maddox of Conroe; nephews Douglas Jenkins & wife Karen of Bay City & Clifton Jenkins of Bay City; great nephews Ryan & Nicholas Jenkins and great nieces Brittany & Emily Jenkins; and a number of cousins, relatives & friends.

Funeral service will be 3:00 PM Sunday, October 28, 2007 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Morgan and Rev. James Whittlesey officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Clifton Jenkins, Douglas Jenkins, Edgar Oncken, Todd Oncken, Kyle Hudgins, Kenny Ellerbee, Ryan Jenkins and Nicholas Jenkins.
