Larry Wayne Corporon, 74, passed away December 9, 2021 while under Hospice care in Danevang, TX.  He was born August 2, 1947, the youngest son of Percy and LuEllen Corporon of Collegeport, TX.  He was younger by 24 years to his brother Duane Corporon.

Larry earned his teaching degree for Art from Sam Houston State and was an avid cartoonist and artist.  He enlisted in the Navy and put his artistic talents to use by running several Base Graphics Departments.

He suffered a stroke on December 7, 2017 while living in Pearland and moved back to Palacios in 2018.  He was a member of the Solid Rock Fellowship in Palacios.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Duane Percy Corporon and sister-in-law Dorothy Ann Corporon.

He is survived by nephews Kenneth Duane Corporon and Allen Neal Corporon, niece Bonnie Carolyn Corporon.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at the Solid Rock Fellowship.  Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM with Pastor Vito Terasas officiating.  Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery.
