LaNoe Gibson, 96, of Palacios, TX passed away March 12, 2020. She was born November 22, 1923 in Hallettsville, TX to Edward Davenport and Charity Rhodes Davenport.

LaNoe is preceded in death by her parents; husband Arnold Weldon "Slowater" Gibson, and grandson Justin Gibson. She is survived by her children & spouses Bettie Jean & Steve Valerga, Vivian Alice & Jack Harwell, James & Patsy Gibson,  and Charles Edward "Chuck"  & Linda Gibson; 12 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and relatives 3:00-5:00 pm Sunday, March 15 at Palacios Funeral Home.   The Rosary will be recited at 5:00 pm Sunday, March 15 at Palacios Funeral Home.  Services are 10:00 am Monday, March 16, 2020 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Palacios with Rev. Kirby Hlavaty officiating.  Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery in Blessing. Pallbearers are Clint Harwell, Steve Valerga, Jr., Jason Gibson, Jonathan Gibson, Mike Gilbert and Austin Smith. Honorary pallbearer is Doug Hlavaty.
