Lanna Joyce Redinger Hargrove, 60, was born in Wharton, Texas on July 7, 1954 to the late Oliver and Sylvia Redinger. She joined her parents, niece Jessica Yates Wooten and sister-in-law Valeria Redinger in heaven, on Wednesday, March 25, 2015.

Lanna had many extraordinary talents. She was an artist who enjoyed painting, and she could envision what others' trash could become and then would craft it into her very own treasure. She refinished wood floors and transformed old furniture. Knowing the names of all of the plants and how to care for them, Lanna landscaped her yard into a botanical garden. Her home was always representative of her eclectic, artsy flair.

Lanna was the wife of W.T. (Tommy) Hargrove and the mother of sons Andrew Gibran Redinger and William Oliver (Will) Hargrove and daughter Mia Augusta Hargrove. She was the baby sister of Shirley Jo Garrison (Douglas), Dorothy Ann Yates and Louis Wayne Redinger. She is also survived by six grandchildren.

There will be opportunity to visit with those who loved Lanna from 5:00pm to 7:00pm Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Taylor Bros Funeral Home in Bay City, Texas. Funeral services will be at 2:00pm Monday, March 30, 2015, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Bay City, with the Rev. Jared Stillions officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City, Texas.
