Kristen Lizabeth Martinez, 32, passed away March 12, 2025. She was born February 11, 1993 in Houston, TX.

Kristen is known for her intelligence, her unwavering determination, her compassion for life, and her respect for the law. As a paralegal, her dedication, strong work ethic and commitment to justice, made her a invaluable team member, educator, and business owner of Nirvana Legal Consultants. It was Kristen's faith in Jesus Christ that caused her to beam with light in the lives of all who knew her.

She was the cherished daughter of Laura Bell, devoted sister to Jared, Devin and Julia, and a loving niece to Joe Martinez. Kristen shared a special bond with her closest cousin, Robert Martinez, and was a beloved granddaughter of Julia Martinez. She was also a dear cousin and loyal friend to many, and a loving pet owner to four dogs, whose joy she cherished deeply. Kristen leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, warmth, and laughter that will forever be treasured. She was preceded by her grandfather Art Martinez, and her uncle Art "Tudi" Martinez.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 pm Friday, March 21, 2025 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home Bay City. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday, March 22, 2025 at First Baptist Church Bay City, with Dr. Mike Zimmerman and Rudy Martinez officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck.
