IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kenneth Ray
Dressler Jr
January 13, 1973 – October 3, 2025
It is with a heavy heart that the family announces the death of Kenneth Ray Dressler Jr. He passed on to heaven at 2:16 pm on October 3rd, 2025. He left behind a spouse, Janell Mulligan-Dressler, 1 daughter Danielle Elizabeth Murphree, and 3 loving grandchildren, Allen James & Elizabeth Ann Morales & Skye Faith Murphree.
He dedicated 16.5 yrs to TDCJ Clemens Unit starting off as a Correctional Officer in the building, and then advancing to Maintenance where he spent the rest of his days until he went on medical leave May 2025. During his time home, he got closer to his grandchildren who called him Pop-Pop. He adored being a grandfather and he dedicated his newfound time to teaching them all the things they needed in this life. In between his work career and being a provider, he dedicated his time to volunteering at the VFW Post 2438 as a auxiliary member. He worked the canteen during bingo and would help with clean ups or anything the post needed. He was a selfless man who would have given the shirt off his back to help those he loved.
A viewing will be held for those friends and family who wish a chance to say goodbye on Monday October 13th from 10 am to 12 pm at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. A meal will be then provided at the VFW Post 2438 following the visitation.
