Albert Kenneth "Ken" Estep, 86, of Markham passed away January 9, 2015. He was born November 9, 1928 in Idalou, TX to the late Leonard Leslie Estep and Iva Lena Cocanougher Estep. He retired from Marathon Oil Company after 33 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, of 66 years, Virginia L. Estep of Markham; daughter Janis Kay Estep Kirchner & husband Kenneth of Seadrift, TX; son Randal Lynn Estep of Markham; sister Wanda Sanders of Seminole, TX; brother Edward Estep of Portales, NM; granddaughter Pamela Kay Vannoy & husband Matthew of Seadrift and great grandchildren Matthew Kenneth Vannoy, Kelsey Kay Vannoy and Mallory Kay West Vannoy. He was preceded in death by a sister Helen Cunningham and two brothers L. D. Estep and Bill Estep.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 5pm until 7pm Monday at Taylor Brother's funeral home in Bay City, TX. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Markham with Rev. Damon Rambo officiating. Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery in Blessing, TX. Memorials in his name may be made to the First Baptist Church in Markham, TX.
