Keith (Cecil) Lynn McDaniel, 59 of Bay City passed away on September 30, 2020. He was born October 3, 1960 in Virginia to Leonard Clyde McDaniel and Joyce Marie Gladwell McDaniel.

Keith moved to Texas as a young man and worked most of his life as a chemical plant operator, while dedicating his life to music ministry in church along with his siblings. The McDaniel Quartet traveled around the state singing at various churches and encouraging others in the Lord. He was a loving husband and father who loved to sing and laugh. He was joyful in all he did.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother.

Survivors include his wife, Stephanie McDaniel; daughters Melody Plank, Melissa Castillo and Amy Chapman; step-daughters Lenora Ott and Emily Findley; brothers Pete McDaniel and Lloyd McDaniel; sisters Regina Selph and Kimberly Boone; grandchildren Rebecca Plank, Jordan Plank, Gabriella Castillo, Natalia Castillo, Logan Chapman, Kayli Chapman and Madison Chapman as well as 8 nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is planned for Keith at 11:00 am on October 10, 2020 at Oak Meadows Community Worship Center (6105 Allendale Rd. Houston, TX 77017).
