Kathy Lee Weixelman, 59, of Palacios passed away October 31, 2006. She was born August 26, 1947 in Manhatten, Kansas to Thomas and Betty Piper Lee. She had been a resident of Palacios for 34 years and was a substitute teacher for Palacios ISD for 4 ½ years.

She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers John Lee and Galen Lee. She is survived by her husband Mike Weixelman of Palacios; her mother Betty Lee of Manhatten, KS; daughter Angela Michel Weixelman of Kyle, TX; sons Michael Lee Weixelman of Edna & Trent Anthony Weixelman of Palacios; brothers Niel Lee and James Lee both of Manhatten, KS; and one granddaughter Kayle Michel Weixelman of Edna.

A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM Thursday, November 2, 2006 at the Palacios Funeral Home. Mass will be 10:00 AM Friday, November 3, 2006 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Palacios with Rev. Richard Weixelman officiating. Burial will follow at the Palacios Cemetery. Pallbearers include John Gill, Peter Quintero, Ken Sexton, Michael Harvey, Reed Bowers, Wendall Weimer and Gary Hafernik .
