Kathleen Ann Dement, 82, joined the choir eternal on December 28, 2024 in Needville, TX.

Born on August 24, 1942, Kathleen was a beacon of love, resilience, and unwavering kindness to all who knew her. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 43 years, Joe W. Dement, and her cherished son, Joseph P. Baxter.

Kathleen's legacy lives on through her devoted daughter, Pattie Jo Cole, and her husband Timothy Cole, along with their son, Spencer, who brought immeasurable joy to Kathleen's life. She is also survived by her twin brother, William Hughes; her younger sister, Mollie, and Mollie's son, Willie Hughes; and her four younger siblings: Kim Savage, Keith Hudson, and twins Karle Hudson and Kyle Hudson.

Kathleen was a woman of quiet strength and boundless compassion, known for her warm heart and open arms. Her family and friends will forever cherish the memories of her infectious laughter, wise guidance, and the unconditional love she so freely gave.

A celebration of Kathleen's life will be held at Cedervale Cemetery in Bay City, TX on January 11th, 2025 at 2:00 PM, where her family invites all who knew her to share in remembering the remarkable woman she was. In lieu of flowers, the family will warmly and graciously accept donations to cover the costs of Kathleen's funeral expenses.

Kathleen will be deeply missed but forever remembered, as her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in eternal peace.
