Funeral services for Katherine Mock Elliott, 71, of Bay City, Texas are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 31, 2006 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home in Bay City, Texas. She died Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at Herman Memorial Southwest Hospital in Houston, Texas.
Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 30, 2006 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home in Bay City.
Pallbearers will be Hairl E. Bundick, Charles "Junior" Bundick, Paul Bundick, Gary Matthews, Robert Hurley and Zachary Hurley.
Honorary pallbearers will be her brothers; and friend, James Bryant.
Katherine, "Tiddle", as she was known to family and friends, was born in Pledger, Texas on February 1, 1935 to Charles Leonard Bundick II and Mamie Violet Bundick.
She and her husband, Clarence Mock owned and operated the Caney Creek Store in Sargent, Texas for many years. She was also a long-time employee of Luby's Cafeteria in Lake Jackson, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Mock in 1977; husband, Max Elliott in 1981; and several brothers.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Chris & Judy Mock of Brazoria; daughter and son-in-law, Dena and Rodney Matthews of Cedar Lane; sisters, Reathel Billiott of LaPorte and Pauline Norrell of Lake Jackson; brothers, Charles Bundick of LaPort and Dan Bundick, Sr. of Brazoria; grandchildren, Nancy Kaye Hurley and husband, Robert; Alan Matthews and wife, Marion; Beth Ann Brooks, Jeremiah Brooks and wife, Amanda; Jerry Beck and wife, Janelle of Mississippi; and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
