Justin Ty Pruett, 29, of Cedar Lane, passed away, Wednesday, June 22, 2011, in Galveston, TX. He was born October 9, 1981 in Corpus Christi, TX to Ronny G. Pruett and Helen J. Pruett. He was a resident of Cedar Lane since 2003, employed as a Plant Operator, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Bay City.

He is survived by his parents: Ronny G. & Helen Pruett of Cedar Lane; his sisters: Amanda Pruett of New Braunfels and Sarah Hodges of Cedar Lane; and by 2 nieces: Lydia Pruett and Bethany Pruett, both of Cedar Lane. A brother, Andrew Pruett, preceded him in death.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 25, 2011, at the First Baptist Church of Bay City with Dr. Michael Zimmerman officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers will be Todd Pruett, Chad Wehe, Gary Flora, Jonathan Flora, Michael Wehe, Trenton Wehe, Ethan Wehe, and Kyle Wehe.
