Jurldean "Jerry" Poe, 83, of Hot Springs, Arkansas died Jan. 6, 2008. She was born Feb. 7, 1925 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Artho & Minnie Porter Poe. After graduating from Mt. St. Mary, she spent most of her adult life in Texas. She was an avid golfer and won many tournaments and state titles in Texas before retiring to Hot Springs. She continued to play golf at Belvedere Country Club and served on several committees for ladies golf tournaments that supported local charities. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church.

Jerry was preceded in death by two brothers Hurston and O'Brien Poe and a sister Oletha Pumphrey. She is survived by a brother, John F. Poe and his wife Karen of Hot Springs, and many nephews and nieces in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Illinois.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday at Taylor Bros. Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
