Julie Diane Michelle Griffin, 25, of Bay City, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2009 in Denton, TX. She was born January 18, 1984 in Port Huron, MI to John Wayne Griffin and Ginger Lee Webb Griffin. She has been a resident of Dallas / Ft. Worth since 2002, attending Texas Women's University and she was a member of the Texas Education Association.

She is survived by her parents: John W. & Ginger Griffin of Bay City; brother James Wesley Patrick Griffin & wife Elizabeth of Bangor, WA; by nephew: John Gavin Lee Griffin of Bangor, WA; by maternal grandparents: Gary & DeVonna Webb of Wapakoneta, OH; and by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: John & Maudie Griffin from Missouri.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Webb and Bill Brewer officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers will be: James Griffin, Gary Webb, Donald Griffin, Michael Kotwal, Jim Popham, Bob Jones, and Roger Ward.
