Obituary
Julia Z. Torres, 83, died on Wednesday, September 29, 2010. She was born April 2, 1927, in San Angelo, Texas, to Francisco and Angelita Zamora. She was a longtime Bay City resident.
Mrs. Torres is survived by her brother Moises Zamora, sister Sara Ramirez, her sons, Adrian Valle, Tomas Torres Jr., Hector Torres, Adam Torres and Israel Torres; daughters Alicia Marroquin, Mary Perry, Lenor Perales, Sofia Reyna and Angie Gutierrez, 24 grandchildren, and 39 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will commence at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 3, 2010, at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home, 2313 Avenue I in Bay City. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. that evening.
Interment will be held in Bay City at Cedarvale Cemetery on Monday, October 4, 2010, at 11:00 am.
