Juanita Valdivia, 84, of Bay City passed away Peacefully at her home on January 11, 2026. She was born on December 10, 1944 in Durango, Mexico to the late Jose Angel Rodriguez and Maria Quinones.

Juanita was a cherished and loved grandmother and mother. She was a woman who valued her family, full of love and joy at every encounter.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, who passed away on September 24, 2001.Survivors include her children Maria de la Paz Morales, Margarita Gonzalez, Manuela Ochoa, Maria Elena Carrasco, Rafael Valdivia, Brenda Valdivia and Israel Valdivia as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren who will forever cherish her memory.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM Friday, January 16, 2026 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Gabreil Espinosa officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Israel Valdivia, Rafael Valdivia, Jesus Gonzalez, Ismael Ochoa, Jr., Rogelio Carrasco, Jr. and Leonel Valdivia.
