Juan Vicente Guillen, 43, of La Ward, Texas passed away May 18, 2025.  He was born September 27, 1981 in Palacios, Texas to the late Ignacio Guillen, Sr. and Blanca America Tijerina Guillen.

Juan worked as a mechanic millwright for many years, among many other professions, He made sure to keep the lights on at night for anyone. He loved his family more than anything in this world. He would give the shirt off his back to help someone. He had a love for cars, especially his Mustang, which he cherished. Juan made many friends throughout his 43 yrs of life. Juan was truly one of a kind, a loving kind man with a heart full of compassion he touched the lives of everyone he met. He was a genuine, humble, loving, caring person who lit up every room he came into. He was funny, always making jokes and trying to make the best of every situation. He leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness and strength, the gifts that never fade. The memories we all have of him should be what keeps his memory alive in our hearts.

Survivors include his sisters Blanca Alicia Guillen and Gem Guillen; brother Ignacio Guillen, Jr., Stepson Sevastian Macedo, Niece Abigail Ramirez (His Princess), Nephews Jude Ramirez (MONSTER), Antonio Guillen, Cameron Cano, His Girlfriend of several years Melissa Dominguez and granddaughter Aaliyah Macedo.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, May 30, 2025 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Deacon Wally Rodriguez officiating.  Interment will follow at the Midfield Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Ignacio Guillen Jr., Hunter Saavedra, Evan Saavedra, Pablo Lucio, Fernando Saavedra, Samuel Saavedra Jr., Alejandro Ramirez and Charles Lee Bradley.  Lane Saavedra will serve as honorary pallbearer.
