Juan Angel Gonzalez, Jr., 82, of Houston passed away June 10, 2023.  He was born October 2, 1940 to the late Jose Juan Gonzalez and Trinidad Paez Gonzalez.

At a very young age Juan started working at Champions Golf Course as a grounds keeper, after that he started working at an apartment complex as a handy man.  His last job was at Dresser Industries where he retired after 25 years as a handy man / grounds keeper.

Juan liked to go bowling, he enjoyed fishing and liked to play golf.  He also liked working with plants and flowers.  He loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters Vera Anderson and Mary Louise Gonzalez and a daughter, Christina Gonzalez.

Survivors include his wife Mary E. Gonzalez; daughter Mary Snyder (Thomas); sons Fernando Gonzalez (Sherry) and Juan Gonzalez; sisters Sarah Gutierrez, Frances Gonzalez and Susie DeLeon; brothers Joe Gonzalez and Thomas Davila; grandchildren Christopher Snyder, Jesse Gonzalez, Nina Jo Gonzalez, Ashley Gonzalez, Angelene Gonzalez, Ava Gonzalez and Aubree Gonzalez and 13 great grandchildren.

A celebration of his life will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Nichols Street Church of Christ; 1200 Nichols St.; Bay City, TX 77414.
