Juan Cantu, 70, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 17, 2022. He was born in China, Nuevo Leon Mexico on October 9, 1952, to the late Anatolio Cantu and Olivia Chapa Cantu.

Juan had a kind heart and humorous personality and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He loved to travel with his wife of 50 years and make friends everywhere he went. His strong faith was apparent in the way he lived his life.

He was preceded in death by his son, Juan A. Cantu.

He is survived by his wife, Blanca Cantu; daughter, Suzie Cantu (Willy Montoya); grandchildren Lisa Pettis (Denzell Pettis), Jacklyn Svoboda (Nik Svoboda), Celine Cantu, Jocelyn Cantu; great-grandchildren Jayden Pettis and Denzell Pettis Jr.; sister in laws Elvia Perez, Rosy Perez, Janie Gonzales, Luddy Zavala.

The family will receive relatives and friends for visitation at 9:00am Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at the Nichols Street Church of Christ in Bay City, Texas. Funeral Services will begin at 10:00am with Edwin Romero officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City.
