Juan Antonio Cantu, 46, of Bay City passed away peacefully on July 18, 2020. He was born October 19, 1973 in San Juan, Texas to Juan Cantu and Blanca Perez Cantu.

He was a mechanic for Zachry at the Sweeny Complex for 17 years. He currently worked at Coastal Automotive Service as a mechanic. He enjoyed cooking for the family and watching the Texans Football Games on Sundays. He had a kind heart and humorous personality and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife Julie Cantu; his parents Juan & Blanca Cantu; daughters Lisa Pettis & husband Denzell, Celine Cantu and Jocelyn Cantu; sister Suzie Cantu; grandchild Jayden Pettis; niece Jacklyn Martinez and many friends and family.

Due to Covid-19 distancing requirements, we ask that only immediate family members attend the funeral service.

Those desiring may gather in Taylor Bros. parking lot beginning at 10:30 am Friday, July 24, 2020 to follow the procession to the cemetery. You may attend the committal service there.
