She continued to live in their home in Markham until she moved to the Legacy complex in January of 2001, where she lived until her death. Jozelle was active in First Baptist Church of Markham until moving to Bay City. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. A celebration of Jozelle's life will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Dr. Mike Zimmerman officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers will be C. W. Rush, Grady Quinney, Jerry Hemphill, Mark Lincecum, Dale Wilhelm, and Jon Wilhelm.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Legacy Assisted Living, her second family, for the love and care of Jozelle over these last 10 years. Also, many thanks to the members of the "Barnabas Connection" of First Baptist Church of Bay City for their visits and encouragement. Dr. Mike Zimmerman has been a wonderful pastor, not to only Jozelle, but to her family as well, through this trying time. May God bless all of you who touched her life.
