Joyce B. Winnett, 80, of Bay City passed away April 28, 2007. She was born January 18, 1927 in Beaumont, TX to Joseph and Lottie Heimann Davis. She married Donald Nathan Winnett on April 16, 1949 and he preceded her in death on August 29, 2002. She was a member of the Matagorda United Methodist Church and a charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 4459 in Matagorda.

She is survived by two sons Alan Winnett of Houston and Joe Winnett and wife Terri of Kingsland, TX and by two grandsons Jace Winnett and wife Stephanie and Jonathan Winnett all of Stephenville, TX.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Thursday, May 3, 2007 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Chapel with Rev. Pauline Harvey officiating. Interment will be 2:00 PM Thursday at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston. The family will greet friends and relatives from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
