Josie "Pino" Garcia, 64, went to be with her Lord on Friday, December 17, 2010. She was born March 13, 1946 in Bay City, TX to Felipe Lopez and Tomasa Zamora Lopez. She was a life long resident of Matagorda County and a member of the Rose of Sharon Pentecostal Church of Van Vleck, TX.

She is survived by her husband: Samuel Garcia of Van Vleck; her daughter: Rose Mary Kinman of Bay City; her sons: Sammy Garcia of Bay City, Javier Garcia of Van Vleck, George Garcia of Van Vleck, Roel Garcia of Bay City, and Raymond Garcia of Bay City; by her sisters: Elena Huerta of Van Vleck, Rev. Janie Robles of Van Vleck, Angelena Quiroga of Van Vleck, Lupe DeLeon of Bay City, Mary Aguilar of Bay City, and Felipe Aguilar of Bay City; and by her brother: Ray Lopez of Manville, TX; and her grandchildren: Victoria Rutledge, Nicole Kinman, Joell Garcia, Samuel Garcia IV, Nora Campos, Gina Downs, Sonia Chino, George Garcia Jr, Brittany Garcia, Celeste Garcia, Mariah Garcia, Raymond Garcia Jr, and Amy Garcia; and by four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 PM to 9 PM. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, December 20, 2010 at Rose of Sharon Pentecostal Church with Rev. Janie Robles, officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers will be: Lionel Garza, Paul Quiroga, Martin Huerta, Manuel Aguilar Jr, Felipe Lopez III, Felipe Edward Lopez, Ben Aguilar, and Mark DeLeon. Honorary pallbearers will be: George Garcia Jr, Raymond Garcia Jr, Paul Irwin, Fred Trevino, and Jerry Robles.
