Obituary
Josephine Lena Gier Almond, 79, of Beaumont passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2009. She was born October 6, 1929 in Hallettsville, Texas to the late Julius Joseph & Lena Buchmillre Krauskopf. Mrs. Almond was a resident of Angleton before moving to Beaumont four years ago.
She is survived by son: William James Gier II & wife Deborah of Beaumont, TX; 2 brothers: Leon Krauskopf of El Campo, TX and Paul Krauskopf of Los Cruces, NM; 2 grandchildren: Maryn and William Gier; and great grandchild: Chloe Spellicy. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Drew Almond.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Friday September 18, 2009 at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck, TX with Dr. Mike Zimmerman officiating.
