Josephine Garcia, 76, of Bay City, TX passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born September 19, 1949 in Houston, TX to the late Augustina Lopez Garcia.

Josephine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the love she shared with everyone who knew her.

Josephine is preceded in death by her mother, and siblings Janie Lopez, Frank Garcia, Alfonso Garcia, Lupe Garcia, Thomas Garcia and Augustina Zavala. She is survived by her husband, Baldemar Garcia; children Dora Tanner, Baldemar Garcia, Jr., Nancy Garcia, Paul Garcia and Rebecca Hernandez; brother Joe Garcia; twenty-two grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love.

The family will receive relatives and friends Monday, November 3, 2025 from 8:00 am – Noon at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home in Bay City, TX.
