Josephine Anne Fojtik, 89, passed away November 14, 2008. She was born March 5, 1919 in Milam County, TX to the late Joseph Andrew & Anna Klapka Hosek. She was a longtime resident of Bay City and a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.

Her husband Frank C. Fojtik, daughter Joann Starr & son Patrick Fojtik all preceded her in death. Survivors include sons Frank Fojtik & wife Sandra of Santa Fe, TX and Jimmy Fojtik of Bay City; sisters Ann Zalesky of Cameron, TX & Agnes Herschbach & husband Richard of Corpus Christi; brothers Alec Hosek & wife Geraldine and Jerry Hosek & wife Peggy all of Rockdale, TX; grandchildren Matthew Fojtik, Kristin Rivera Theresa Starr & Michael Starr; 7 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Chapel. Mass will be 10:00 AM Monday, Nov. 17, 2008 at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Rev. Casey Jarzombek officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Memorials may be made to Holy Cross Catholic Church.
