Joseph "Joe" Brodsky, 91, passed away in Bay City, Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011. Joe was born Oct. 18, 1919 in Manhattan, New York to the late Abraham and Bertha Brodsky. He served his country during WWII in the Army Air Corps. He was the past president of the Kermit, Tx. evening Lions Club. Longtime member of the Bay City V.F.W.#2438. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Jean Brodsky; son, Joseph Brodsky and wife Terry; grandchildren, Rachel Bennett, Joshua Brodsky, Kara Williams, Aaron Brodsky; great-grandchildren, Dawson Bennett, Kinsley Williams, Ruddick Williams; sister Betty Misa. He is preceded in death by his parents, Brothers, Charlie and Bernie; sisters, Helen and Mollie; Close family friends, Mark, Theresa, and Caleb Garrison. Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, Jan. 18th at Roselawn Memorial Park with Rev. Larry Macomber officiating. There will be a V.F.W. graveside with V.F.W #2438.
