Rutilio Jose Castellanos, 82, of Cuero, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2016. He was born June 4, 1933 in Mexico to the late Pablo Castellanos and Zeferina Dominguez.

Jose enjoyed music. He loved playing his guitar and singing. Jose was a doting grandfather.

Jose is survived by his brothers and sisters, Agustin, Maceria, Juana, Guillermine, Dominga, Fancisco, Aleja; wife Maria Ines Najera; children Jose Albertio, Gaspar, Virginia and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors 4-8pm Thursday, January 28 with a 6:00pm Rosary at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be 10:00am Friday, January 29, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Msgr. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery.
