Jose Angelo "Joe" Trevino, 59, of Bay City passed away Thursday, September 21, 2006 at Matagorda General Hospital in Bay City. He was born July 18, 1947 in Harlingen, TX to the late Angel & Juanita Paz Trevino. Mr. Trevino was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, and Owner/Operator of Trevino Trucking Company.

He is survived by his wife: Janie Trevino of Bay City; 2 daughters & sons-in-law: Jo Ann & John Benavides, and Sylvia Ann Trevino & husband Daniel all of Bay City; 4 sons & daughters-in-law: Joe Angel, III & Yvette Trevino, Benito & Frances Trevino, Elias & Frankie Trevino, and Chris & Venessa Trevino all of Bay City; his step-father: Elias Paz of Bay City; a sister: Susie Morales of Bay City; 20 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

The Rosary will be held at 8:00 PM Saturday, September 23, 2006 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, September 24, 2006 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City. Pallbearers will be Ray Estrada, Fred Brown, John Hayden, Leroy Saucedo, Mike Stone, Paul Apataca, Manuel Figueroa, and Alfredo Estrada.
