Jon Carmel (JC) Cosentino, 55, passed away peacefully August 6, 2022, at Matagorda Regional Hospital in Bay City, TX.  He was born April 10, 1967, in Amsterdam, NY. He would become the son of Carmel and Sylvia Cosentino.

Jon had a heart as big as Texas.  He loved and lived a life most would have a hard time believing.  His quest for knowledge was incomparable.  His interests ranged from racing to history, from anything Sci-fi to plays and musicals, from the thin blue line to zombies.  Jon was a kid at heart.  He loved putting together Lego models and playing online games.  His inner child would appear in full force on "his holidays" the 4th of July and Halloween.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law David Lee Erickson and sister-in-law Dawn Erickson.  Jon is survived by his wife Stephanie Cosentino of Bay City, his brother Andy Cosentino of Sweeny, and his beloved daughter Carlie Cosentino of Illinois.

There will not be any services at this time, but a celebration of Jon's life is being planned for an October date.  Details to come.
