Johnny Lee Garcia, age 62, of Bay City, Tx unexpectedly passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025, in Houston, Tx surrounded by loved ones.  He was born on July 13, 1963, in Beeville, Texas to Raul and Amelia Garcia. He grew up in Bay City, Texas, later graduating from Bay City High School in 1981. He married his high school sweetheart, Irma Gomez on August 8, 1981, and together they shared 44 years of love and companionship.

Johnny worked as a Car Salesman and General Manager at Don Elliott Autoworld for 38 years. After the business was sold, he worked for Wharton Ford, later working for VonDerAu Ford in El Campo, Tx. Johnny worked in car sales for a total of 40 years, he was admired for his dedication, outgoing personality and compassion toward others.

Johnny was a very hard working man. He was always on the go. He was an amazing father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be greatly missed by many.

When he wasn't working, Johnny loved spending time with his family, especially his three granddaughters. He was the best dad and Popo anyone could ask for. His girls were the joy of his life. He looked forward to their Sunday visits, where he would take the younger grandchildren on shopping trips, and play with them for hours outside. He was so very proud of his eldest granddaughter, who is attending Texas A&M Kingsville anticipating graduation in Spring. Johnny loved to grill outdoors, grocery shop and watch Hallmark movies. He was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

Johnny was an active member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, where he was involved in various groups. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Vincent de Paul. He loved Friday morning group gatherings with TMIY.

Johnny is survived by his wife, Irma Garcia; daughter Rosanna Garcia; granddaughters, Mylah Garcia, Mia and Gianna Franco; sisters, Stephanie Garcia, Irene Payne, Gloria Rodriguez; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his mother Amelia Garcia and father Raul Garcia.
