Johnny Raymond Flores, 71, of Bay City passed away November 19, 2022.  He was born July 26, 1951 in Bay City.

Johnny was a life-long resident of Bay City, TX. He worked for the Matagorda County Drainage District for many years. He loved to spend time with his family and friends, sitting on his back porch, drinking his Schlitz and listening to his music. He was also well known for loving his Dallas Cowboys and running his good ol' football pots. Johnny was the greatest of disciplinarians with his nieces and nephews, and well loved by his family and friends. He has truly left us with a tremendous amount of loving memories.

He was preceded in death by his mother Herlinda Flores; wife Hope A. Flores; sister Yolanda Sanchez Garcia and brother Steven Flores. Survivors include son Jesse Daniel Sanchez; brother Sammy Flores & wife Elida; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; niece Norma Jones as well as other nieces, nephews, and family members.

A rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM.  Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers are Tony Sanchez, Jesse Sanchez, Noah Mendoza, Sammy Flores, Jr., Mark Garza and Abraham Flores.
