Johnna Ruth Norris passed away May 5, 2018 at her home in Bay City, Texas. She was born October 13, 1932 in Lometa, TX to the late John Crow and Vera Mae Sanderson Crow.

Johnna was a devoted wife to Harry Edward Norris. They were lifelong residents of Bay City.  She is survived by relatives Susan Hunt, Ann Carl, Doug Thornton, and H.A. Norris; special friend David Hammond, whom she called her adopted son by heart, and her granddaughter by heart Lillyan Tucker.

She was a beautiful person who led a wonderful life. She was an elementary school teacher in Bay City. After retirement, she and Harry traveled the world. After Harry's death, she continued her travels with close friends and she is now on her ultimate trip to heaven.

Visitation will be 5PM until 7PM Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Lane Pardue officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Isaiah Tucker, Matt Hammond, Mike Hammond and Matt Sloan. Sidney "Foots" Wallace will serve as honorary pallbearer.
