John Austin Stone, 83, passed away September 1, 2021. He was born December 27, 1937 in Montgomery, Alabama to the late Joseph Alvin Stone and Martha Elizabeth Boatwright.

John was an extremely proud graduate of Auburn University, class of 1961. He enjoyed a successful career as a salesman for National Cash Register, Diebold, Bruning Corporation and eventually founded the Houston-based business Micrographics Plus. He was an avid endurance motorcyclist, tennis player and faithful believer in Jesus Christ. John was a long-time member of Spring Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Norma Faye Stone.

Survivors include his daughter Elizabeth Lenora Hart (Tim); son John Austin "Jay" Stone, Jr. (Pamela); brothers Joseph Alvin Stone, Jr. and David Lee Stone; grandchildren Austin Stone, Ashley Duval, Maggie Hernandez, Zachary Sandlin, Abaigale Stone, Adam McAuley and Paul Stone and great grandchildren Madeline Duval, Jackson Duval, Jacob Dunaway, Lucille Stone and Charlie Stone.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, September 10, 2021 at Spring Baptist Church; 633 E Louette Rd.; Spring, TX 77373. Interment will follow at Klein Memorial Park; 32509 TX 249; Pinehurst, TX 77362.
