IN LOVING MEMORY OF
John David
Roe
August 26, 1969 – August 17, 2025
John David Roe, 55, of Van Vleck departed life on Earth to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on August 17, 2025. He was born August 26, 1969 in Bay City, Texas to Johnnie Ernest "Butch" Roe and Peggy West Roe.
He was the beloved husband to Vanessa and wonderful father to Jadynn and Julian. John met Vanessa 26 years ago and they have been inseparable ever since. They married in 2000 and welcomed their two amazing children. John had an indescribable love for his family. Everything he did was for them. He deeply enjoyed making memories with them on lakeside camping trips and summer getaways. A true lover of life, John had a particular passion for Barbecuing, and he allowed his family members to indulge in the best barbecue ever made. He loved his late-night smoke sessions behind the pit, and thanks to him, "THE PIT MASTER," so many families enjoyed his cooking too.
He was a dedicated member of Discover Life Church in Markham, where he devoted his time to volunteering and uplifting his community. John was a dedicated driver for Swift Courier Service for many years. He never met a stranger, and made life long friends everywhere he went. John was known for his unique brand of sarcasm that often had us laughing, whether it was his playful quips during family gatherings or his spirited banter, his legacy of humor will live on in our hearts and stories. John will forever be remembered for his kindness, laughter, and unwavering faith. May he rest in eternal peace with our Lord and Savior.
