John Anthony Litzau, a dedicated husband, father, and friend, went to be with the Lord on December 6, 2023 surrounded by his family.

John Anthony Litzau, 59, of Midfield, TX, was born on July 7, 1964 in St. Louis, Missouri. John worked for Palacios Marine Industrial as Manager of the Industrial Coatings department. John's favorite activities included camping, fishing, and hunting. He loved being involved with his children's and grandchildren's sports. John's heart was full when all of his family was together, and he had a lasting impact on everyone he met.

John was preceded in death by his sister, Tracy Weir and brother, Ricky Litzau.

John was survived by his loving wife, Charla Litzau of 34 years; his mother, Gisela Litzau Turner; his father, James Litzau; his daughter, Kendra Litzau; his two sons, Steven Litzau and Brandon Litzau; his brother Mike Litzau; and his grandsons Cameron Litzau, Blake Litzau, and Masyn Litzau.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Nichols Street Church of Christ, 1200 Nichols Avenue, Bay City, TX, 77414. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM with Chris Webber officiating.
