John Webber, Jr., 94, of Bay City passed away March 4, 2024.  He was born August 10, 1929 in Houston, Texas to the late John Webber and Josephine Gola Webber.

John served in the Army and worked for the Postal Service for 33 years.  After retirement, he began doing vehicle body repairs, working until he was 88 years old.  He loved hunting, fishing and gardening.  He was always there for his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife Anne Sliva Webber, granddaughter Crystaline Dawn Webber and sisters Rosalie Stringer and Mary LaBauve.

Survivors include son Kelly Webber (Jackie); daughters Lynda Scheppan, Bridget Noffke, Karen Strebeck and Kimberly Korenek (Scott) all of Bay City; grandchildren Troy and Sam Scheppan, Brooke and Roxanne Bond, Brandi Morris, Chris Webber, Kacy and Seth Korenek, Dustin Strebeck, Michael and Katie Ann Noffke and great grandchildren Katie, Caden and Colton Morris, Riley Bond, Jaxon and Paisley Scheppan and Carson and Brayden Webber.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Friday, March 8, 2024 at Holy Cross Catholic Church.  A rosary will be recited at 1:30 PM followed by Funeral Mass at 2:00 PM.  Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.  Pallbearers will be Chris Webber, Troy Scheppan, Sam Scheppan, Michael Noffke, Seth Korenek and Dustin Strebeck.
