Joe Armando Sanchez, 82, of Bay City, Texas, passed away Friday, October 16, 2026. He was born November 2, 1943, to the late Ruben Carlos Sanchez and Thomas (Tommie) Espinosa

Joe was a man who found happiness in the simple things in life - being surrounded by family, working in his garden, listening to his favorite oldies and spending a peaceful day in Matagorda with a fishing pole in hand.

Joe lived without needing much, but he gave so much to others. His greatest legacy will not be found in things he left behind, but the kindness he showed, the love he gave and the memories that his family will carry forever.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughters, Esperansa (Hopie) Sanchez, Veronica Rachel Sanchez, and Michelle Martinez; son, Armando Ruben Sanchez; 8 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
