Obituary
Joe Henry Nance, 78, of Blessing passed away December 22, 2017. He was born September 24, 1939 in Victoria, TX to the late Douglas Nance and Irene Marie Kolle Nance. He served in the United States Army prior to working for Texas Eastern for 33 years where he retired.
He was preceded in death by a sister Charlene Horney.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years Patsy Nance; sons Rick Nance (Lisa) of Blessing, Michael Nance of Spring and Stephen Nance (Tina) of Sweeny; sister Waldene Byrne of Goliad; brother Walter Nance of Victoria; grandchildren Derek Nance (Alyssa), Cassie Boyett (Chris), Justin Andrews (Katie), Christy Alley (Drew), Margaret Nance, Nathan Nance and Morgan Nance and by nine great grandchildren.
A rosary will be recited at 1:30 PM Thursday, December 28, 2017 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Blessing. Funeral Mass will follow at 2:00 PM with interment in St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery in Blessing.
