Obituary
Joe A. Moreno, 70, formerly of Bay City passed away February 26, 2008. He was born January 27, 1938 in Buckeye, TX to the late Gabriel & Maria Refugio Silva Moreno.
Survivors include sisters Maria Moreno & Elvira Padilla & husband Leonard all of Fulton, TX; brother Justin Moreno & wife Maria Victoria of Sugar Land; best friend Mamie Morales and a number of other relatives.
A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be 10:00 AM Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Bobby Knox, Jesse Enriquez, Joe Ramos, Santiago Oros, Richard Morales, & Joe Gonzalez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Elias Peña, A. B. Trevino, Luis Rangel, Luis Medina & Pete Mendiola.
