Obituary
Joe V. Lowery, 79, of Bay City passed away April 8, 2009. He was born August 1, 1929 in Gatesville, TX to the late John Howard & Lessie McHargue Lowery. He loved gardening, fishing and cooking for his family.
Survivors include his wife Sue Lowery of Bay City; sons Clifford Lowery and Clifton Lowery & wife Grace all of Van Vleck; sisters Juanita Luna of Austin, Winnie Middleton of Kingwood & Annette Bruton of Gatesville; brother Bobby Lowery of Gatesville and granddaughter Brandy Lowery & husband Rhett Holloway.
The Family will receive friends and relatives from 5pm to 7pm Friday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Clint Lowery officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Paul Lowery, Mike Lowery, Bruce Grasmunk, Larry Middleton, Chip Lowery and Thomas Matura.
