Marian Joanne Davis Glenn passed away on August 11, 2022.  She was born in Arcadia, Florida on February 7, 1935 to Oliver C. Davis and Alva L. Norton Davis.

She was raised the first 7 years of live on islands off the Florida Coast.  Her father was a seaman, so nearly all her life was spent on the gulf Coast of Florida and Texas.  She graduated from Webster High School in Webster, Texas in 1953 and met and married her husband, John. D. Glenn, the following year, 1954.  They had 3 sons, John D. Glenn, Jr., Robert A. Glenn and Larry E. Glenn.

Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Oliver C. Davis, Jr. and his spouse, Tula J. Davis.  She is survived by her brother Edward E. Davis and spouse Karla of Robinson, TX; her 3 sons and daughter-in-law, Lea Glenn; 8 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great-great granddaughters.  Also, a very special person, Rhonda Glenn and her special friend, Susan Trollinger; numerous nephews, cousins and distant relations.

Services will be at a later date at Hawley Cemetery for family and close friends only.
