Joan Gladys Wood 88, of Van Vleck, passed away February 2, 2020. She was born February 17, 1931 in Matagorda County to the late B.H. and Mary Hughes Weldon.

Joan loved reading, bird watching and cooking. She also loved technology and learning the computer.

Joan is survived by her beloved husband of 41 years, Neal Wood.

Services will be 11:00am Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck, with Rev. Mike Patterson officiating.
