Joan L. Fouse, 78, formerly of Markham passed away January 15, 2011. She was born December 3, 1932.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harold D. Fouse; daughter Letricia D. Ricketts and great-great granddaughter Liberty A. Hanna. Survivors include daughters Katherine Jewell & husband Joe of Sparta, NC and Pam Dahsa of Navarra, FL; granddaughters Natalie & husband Cliffton Green of Sparta, NC, Shannon & husband Ryan Ramsey of Fountain, CO, Katherine M. Woodard & Joan M. Reese of Bay City, Melissa Williams of Raeford, NC, Cherly & husband David Orr of Brazoria and grandson Michael & wife Daisy Reese of the Philippines; 17 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. She was loved by all and forgotten by few.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6pm to 8m Friday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
