Jo Beth Wehmeyer Frankson, 76, of Palacios, passed away Monday, July 3, 2006. She was born September 13, 1929 in Palacios, TX to Ernest Wehmeyer and Josephine Moore Wehmeyer. She was a lifelong resident of Palacios, a former Secretary for the Palacios I.S.D., a member of the First United Methodist Church of Palacios, and a homemaker.

She is survived by her sons: John Frankson & wife Dawna and David Frankson, Jr. & wife Patty, of Palacios; by her grandchildren: Eric Frankson of Bryan, Kim & Matt Hanz of Bryan, Chuck Frankson and Kelli Frankson of Palacios, and Cheryl & Dwayne Lutz of D'Hanis; and by one special great-granddaughter, Karlee Lutz, she was proud of. She is preceded in death by her husband, David A. Frankson, Sr. and by her parents, Ernest & Josephine Wehmeyer.

Visitation will be from 2 PM to 9 PM Wednesday and 9 AM to 9 PM Thursday at the Palacios Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, July 7, 2006 at the First United Methodist Church of Palacios with Rev. June White and Rev. Hollie L. Briscoe officiating. Interment will follow at the Palacios Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Troy Shimek, Donald Wehmeyer, Pete Griffith, Galen Johnson, Cody Adams, and Joe Jenkins.
