Jo Ann "Jo" Jalufka of Blessing passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2015. She was born on December 27, 1947 in Bay City to the late Alvin and Hazel Guynes Baker.

Jo was the organist for St. Peters Catholic Church in Blessing for many years. She taught Catechism for the St. Peter's Parish and was a member of the Catholic Daughters.

Jo is survived by her daughters, Tina Cortinas and husband Richard and Regina Jalufka; grandchildren, Kayla Cortinas and A. J. Cortinas, and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband August "Auggie" Jalufka.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00pm Thursday July 30 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 10:00am Friday, July 31, 2015 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Williams officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery in Blessing. Pallbearers are Ashley Jalufka, Russell Raab, Ray Gonzales, Zack Tucker, Jesse Tucker and William Guynes. Honorary pallbearers are Isaiah Tucker and Jody Guynes .
