Jo Ann Jager, 75, of Blessing died Friday, October 26, 2012. She was born September 7, 1937 in Navidad, TX to the late R. J. & Josephine Peters James. She married Carl P. Jager on June 10, 1967 and they raised four children together.

Jo Ann taught school at Holy Cross Catholic School in Bay City, Edna ISD and St. Joseph in Victoria before joining her husband Carl to work at Carl's Feed and Seed for 39 years.

Survivors include her husband Carl P. Jager of Blessing; daughters Andrea Jager and Debbie Jager both of Blessing; sons Daniel Jager of Blessing and Dennis Jager of Cedar Park, TX; sister Jeanette Clark & husband Walter of Weatherford, TX; brothers Richard James & wife Billie of Edna and John Michael James & wife Barbara of Edna and Houston; 6 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Monday, October 29, 2012 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery in Blessing. Pallbearers will be John Saltzgiver, Doby Gillard, Mark James, Mark Hamilton, Ed Bell, Louis Kopnicky, Pablo Dominguez and Brian Clark.
