Jimmie Dwayne Smallwood, Sr., 87, passed away at his home in Bay City, Texas Tuesday, December 15, 2020. He was born December 4, 1933 in Anadarko, Oklahoma to the late Oscar Boyd Smallwood, and Beula Quillin Smallwood.

Jimmie loved a good western movie or book.  He also enjoyed eating.  That, and seeing his family get together, were his favorite things about the holidays.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy Smallwood; parents, Oscar Smallwood and Beula Muchmore; son, Daniel Ellis; and daughter, Jamie Smallwood

He is survived by his children, Jimmie Dwayne Smallwood, Jr., Ramona Smallwood, Sonya Kjergaard, and Dennis Ellis, as well as multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Private services will be held at a later date.
